President Obama signed the Dept. of Defense Appropriations Act of 2010 which included a two month delay for the 21% Medicare payment cut. The cut is still scheduled to go into effect on March 1st, unless congress either temporarily delays it again or fixes the dang thing once and for all! It is suggested you hold off submitting claims for Jan. 1 – 15 until after the 15th to avoid payment errors. View very short AAPC article on the topic here.

Thanks for following this and other issues on the legislative goings on. Something on your take on what is going on with EHR stimulus and meaningful use definition, what’s it really mean the good bad and ugly would be cool.
